GGM Answers to Common Questions

QUESTION:  Is GGM following all dictates of the County, State, Federal Government, Health Services, and the CDC regarding holding Sunday services during this pandemic?

ANSWER: YES!  Since the middle of March 2020, GGM has consulted with authorities, read all mandating information, followed all guidelines, held in-depth Staff and Team Trainings, and even written its own Manual of Process which remains onsite.  GGM has been preparing for exactly 6 months and has now, cautiously, opened its doors to Staff and Teams Members first, next to GGM Members only, and, when the time is right, will open to guests and the general public.  GGM has continuously emailed and updated its membership the mandatory Guidelines in a timely manner.

QUESTION:  How is GGM addressing cleanliness?

ANSWER: GGM has posted and emailed letters to every member regarding our cleaning and sanitizing process.  GGM has been working for the past 3 months in removal of unnecessary articles and objects, cleaning and disinfecting items, wiping down with sanitation wipes touchable areas (walls, light switches, door knobs, mics, podiums, seats, etc.), employing pest control, and utilizes, ongoing, professional building cleaners.  GGM sanitizes and facilitates a “bomb sanitization” in the sanctuary and thorough cleaning and sanitizing prior to every service.  Restrooms are not available for general use but when used, only one person is allowed at a time and sanitizing is facilitated immediately following that person exiting the restroom area.

QUESTION:  Is GGM assuring no over-crowding?

ANSWER: GGM has posted and emailed letters to every member regarding our screening process, entering and exiting process, and our mandatory Sunday Service Registration process.  GGM has had months of Staff and Teams training including 2 Sundays of on-the-job training and the final Saturday prior to the opening Sunday intensive training.  GGM has instituted a MANDATORY on-line Service Registration which assures that our self-imposed "permitted attendance of 65 including all staff"  is far below our CDC and Health Services allowed attendance of 25% of our 500 capacity (125).

QUESTION:  What is GGM doing about social distancing?

ANSWER: GGM has posted and emailed letters to every member regarding the mandate of 6’ social distancing.  GGM has posters, barriers, and seating signs in the entrance, the foyer, and the sanctuary. Individuals will be seated only by the Ushers in their designated seats (using the registration seat reservation) and those in households may sit together in designated "Household" seats, by the Ushers.  Those registered are encouraged to arrive as early as 10:45am to be screened for our 11:30am Service. If they arrive earlier, they are not permitted to “visit” at other cars or to exit the cars until screening opens at 10:45am.  Exiting is facilitated by Usher direction, only.

QUESTION:  Are masks encouraged at GGM?

ANSWER: GGM has posted and emailed letters to every member regarding the wearing of masks.  Everyone is mandated to wear a mask before entering our site, while at our site, and after leaving our site.  We ask that everyone bring his/her own mask, but we have both cloth masks with filters and disposable masks available, free of charge.  All Staff and on-duty Team Members wear masks at all times.

QUESTION:  How does GGM address hesitancy of individuals to return, at this time, to on-site worship?

ANSWER:  Quoting from the various written correspondence from GGM to the membership, "It is our desire to see everyone return to the GGM Worship Building in physical safety and mental comfort. Please know that we are not rushing anyone and we are encouraging all who are possibly at risk, medically or physically unable or unsure, or hesitant to attend right now, to time your return only as you and your doctor see fit. Our Greater Glory Ministries Sunday Services at 11:30am and Thursday Night Bible Study Services at 6:30pm will continue to be on Facebook Live and on YouTube for you to yet join us.  STAY CONNECTED."

QUESTION:  How can anyone find out other information not covered here?

ANSWER:  Please feel free to continuously visit this website at www.TheGGM.org or email us at Connect@TheGGM.org.
